And its here! The long awaited iTunes 7.7 has been released, allowing you to hook up your shiny new iPhone when you get it and use many of its new features. iTunes 7.7 introduces the fanstastic App Store and the ability to use your iPhone as a remote to control iTunes (again, still not active until 2.0FW is released).

Still to be released/activated by Apple to take full advantage of your iPhone (new or old) is the new 2.0 firmware and MobileMe including an update to intergrate it with current Mac’s.

Mac users can find the update on Software Updates and Window users in Australia can manually download from apple.com or wait for Apple Software Updater to be updated.

You can also check out the App Store, where you can buy your apps before the iPhone is released, follow this link to see all the APP-le goodness (a little pun for you there)

To enable the Applications button all you have to do is go into Preferences and make sure the “Applications” box is ticked otherwise it wont show up.

Keep checking back for all the latest news as it is released!
