  I would say that this is the media pack or the information pack for the iPhone before the release.
  Stuff like carboard cutouts and dummy phone to entice people in to getting one on pre-order.

  i would expect some sort of training material for the sales staff to be included and even details of what plan(s) and what price will be on and off contract.

  if the iPhone is a end of the month release then you would want to pre-order one ASAP as i would expect them to sell out in the first week (or day even) and then there being a delay of 2 - 4 week until more stock arrives.

  knowing apple i doubt they will run out of iphones , im sure they have a stockpile of them over east so even if we do run out of them it will only be 1-2days till it gets here.
  (bring your trolley poles, you all gawn get jumped :P)

  The Australian online Apple Store went offline at 12.10am Tuesday 10th June. It left us with “We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly”.

  I dare say this is the new iPhone and perhaps Macbook Pro.

  Well the iPhone 3g was announced at 11:32 am us time (4:32am AET), comes with GPS through Google Maps, new sleek design and cheaper price ($199us for the 8gb version and $299us for the 16gb).

  Release date is 11th june in 22 countries but i don’t know if australia is one of them (still spamming the australian apple online store)

  if all goes well we may have a iPhone by wednesday

  Can anyone who works at a resseller actually confirm that the iphone 3g is in Australia (Doesn’t make much difference but if the phones aren’t here yet it means the box has smething else in it)

  i think they are just displaying it there… im not sure but the guys at our forums should know for sure… hes goin to visit there for a few months and he said he wont be able to get one till he gets back to the uk…
